Advanced Tactical AK MOD1 PDW FE(TM) Carbine by Arcturus
The Advanced Tactical AK MOD1 PDW FE(TM) Carbine by Arcturus is a high-end airsoft rifle that combines modern technology with the classic design of the compact AK74U. Thanks to its precision engineering and robust construction, it offers exceptional performance straight out of the box. The body is made from stamped steel with QPQ surface treatment, ensuring high durability and long lifespan. Simply put, it’s a solid piece of steel that outmatches competitors with alloy bodies. Arcturus rifles are not only impressive on the outside; their internals are top-tier as well. This rifle is equipped with the ARC FE electronic unit (ETU), allowing fire mode customization (Semi, 3rd Burst, Binary, Full Auto), pre-cocking (pre-cocking) for an extremely fast trigger response, and an active brake that prevents unnecessary piston movement after a shot. The electronics also include overvoltage protection and a low battery warning.
Internal Components
Inside, you’ll find a reinforced Version 3 gearbox with a quick-change spring system (QSC), allowing for easy performance tuning based on the requirements of a particular event. The gearbox uses steel gears in an 18:1 ratio and a 24k high-torque neodymium 21TPA motor. The hop-up system is handled by an ARCTURUS RS(TM) rotary polymer chamber, providing precise hop-up adjustment. The inner 6.03 mm precision barrel has a length of 250 mm, making this rifle ideal for CQB or vehicle crews.
External Build
The rifle’s body is made from stamped steel with a QPQ surface treatment, protecting it from corrosion and wear. The handguard is CNC-machined aluminum and features M-LOK slots. The front sight block is equipped with a RIS rail for mounting optics. The AR15-style stock is made from nylon polymer, reducing the rifle’s overall weight while maintaining durability. The package also includes a flash hider that can be easily swapped thanks to the 14mm CCW left-hand thread.
