The MAVERICK 1×22 Gen3 by Vector Optics is a compact and rugged red dot sight perfect for both range use and airsoft. Featuring a 3 MOA red dot, it covers roughly the height of a lighter at 100 yards (91.4 meters), offering fast and accurate target acquisition. With 11 brightness levels, it adapts well to any lighting condition, from bright daylight to low light. The rubberized housing offers a solid grip and excellent resistance to scratches and impacts.Included killflash (honeycomb sunshade) reduces glare and protects the lens from direct hits—especially useful in airsoft. The 41 mm optical center height ensures a lower 1/3 co-witness with standard iron sights. Additionally, the side battery compartment allows quick battery replacement without losing zero. This red dot is even rated for use with powerful calibers such as .308 (7.62).

Warning
The included killflash provides one-time protection against hits and lens penetration from medium distances. Full lens protection by killflash cannot be guaranteed when hit from a distance of 5–10 meters, depending on the weapon’s velocity. After each hit, the killflash must be replaced to maintain its protective function (a replacement killflash is listed in the recommended accessories). For higher lens protection during airsoft, we recommend purchasing a hardened protective lens for red dot sights with a 28–30 mm objective lens from Vector Optics. While it is also single-use, it is more durable than a killflash.
