<p>The silent piston head is made of duralumin <strong>EN AW 6012 T6</strong> on the CNC machining centre. Nine holes are drilled on the front side.The air stream flows through these holes during compression thus expanding the O-ring which provides for better sealing of the space between the piston head and the cylinder.</p>
<p>The silent piston head is equipped with a <strong>pneumatic brake</strong>. The brake stops the air flow before the piston head hits the cylinder head. Closing the air flow creates an <strong>air cushion</strong> that ensures a damped impact of the piston head. This will significantly <strong>reduce noise</strong> and reduce the dynamic shocks transmitted to the gearbox.</p>
<p>Installation of the silent piston head requires expertise in the function of airsoft guns. Especially the <strong>AoE</strong> (Angle of Engagement) must be set correctly. This means that the AoE must be done with compressed air brake and <strong>0.5..
