TN Precision Inner Barrel KM Head 1950 GBB
The high-precision tightbore barrel from KM Head 1950 ensures better accuracy, improved grouping, and increased range due to the reduced space around the BB as it travels through the barrel. This results in a more stabilized BB flight, preventing oscillations that could affect shot precision. Additionally, more air remains behind the BB, which boosts muzzle velocity for increased performance. For best results, the manufacturer recommends pairing this barrel with hop-up rubbers from Maple Leaf or 4UANTUM. The barrel is nickel-plated with a Teflon coating (Teflon-Nickel) for maximum smoothness.
Important Notice
The quality and cleanliness of BBs, along with the barrel and hop-up rubber, are crucial factors for precision shooting. To maintain performance, it’s essential to keep dirt away from BBs (e.g., inside the magazine during crawling) and to regularly clean the inner barrel from impurities that could negatively affect accuracy.
The appropriate barrel length should be chosen based on the original (stock) barrel length of the gun.
Selecting the optimal barrel length for a particular setup is almost an art, as it requires balancing multiple physical principles.
The key factor is the air volume ratio in the cylinder (or released gas), commonly known as the Cylinder:Barrel Ratio. The longer the barrel or the heavier the BB, the more air is needed from the cylinder. This is why various cylinder designs exist with or without ports. For gas-powered guns, the gas type or the output power of the HPA regulator also plays a crucial role.
