Do you want to know exactly the muzzle velocity and energy of your gun? To verify the effect of a newly installed upgrade part? Or simply to be sure you won’t be sent home from a game due to an overpowered gun? Then you need your own chrono. The AC5000 is an advanced chronograph for measuring muzzle velocity, energy, and rate of fire. It uses patented LED lenses and IR sensors for maximum accuracy. With its 24 mm diameter tube, it is suitable even for larger barrels of airguns and airsoft guns (ammo calibers 4.5 mm, 6 mm, 9 mm, and 18 mm).The 128×64 color LCD display shows velocity, RoF, Joules, BB weight, and more. It includes memory for the last 25 shots and auto shut-off during inactivity or low battery. Power is supplied via 2× AA batteries or a Micro USB cable (not included). This allows easy powering via a phone charger or a power bank. The device can also be mounted on a tripod using the standard 1/4-20 UNC thread. The plastic body is durable and compact, ideal for both range use and field play.

Tips for Accurate Measurement

Always measure with quality BBs of the same weight (commonly 0.20 g).
Always wear protective goggles (including people nearby).
Place the chrono on a stable surface and fire from a short distance straight through the measuring tube.
Ensure a safe zone behind the chrono free of people, animals, and valuables.
Take multiple measurements for accuracy (at least 3 shots).
Clean and maintain sensors more frequently after using gas-powered guns.
