The suppressor body is crafted from durable 6061 aluminum with realistic deep engraving and finishing, while small locking mechanism parts are made of steel for added durability. The package also includes the SOCOM 4 flash hider with a QPQ finish. The flash hider installs onto the weapon using a 14mm CCW thread. The suppressor attaches directly to it via the quick-detach system (QD). Simply align the suppressor with the guiding grooves and twist the base of the suppressor. This suppressor combines a realistic design with high functionality.The highlight of this setup is the integrated AT2000R tracer unit by Acetech, which illuminates red and green BBs at a rate of up to 30 BBs per second. The unit is powered by rechargeable 10440 Li-ion batteries (not included) and recharges via a Micro USB connector. The tracer unit can be removed from the suppressor for charging or maintenance as needed.The suppressor also allows for the storage of a longer inner barrel since the tracer unit occupies only part of the suppressor. For improved accuracy, it’s important to stabilize and center any inner barrel extension within the suppressor using appropriate spacers.Although this is a noise-suppression replica, this airsoft version does not truly suppress firing noise as, for example, in AEG guns, the noise is generated inside the gearbox due to piston impacts and gear rotation. With manual and gas guns (GBB, GBBR, HPA), using foam inserts (not included) can achieve partial noise reduction, though further suppression of the airsoft gun’s functional mechanism is essential.The best noise suppression can be achieved with custom-fit EPeS foam inserts made to match the specific suppressor type or diameter.
