Active Brake II by JeffTron
This is a compact MOSFET module designed for installation into AEG replicas regardless of gearbox type. It features active motor braking, which stops the piston in its starting position after each shot. This prevents partial spring tension and prolongs the lifespan of internal components and the spring itself. It also eliminates the problem of double shooting in SEMI mode with high-speed setups. Installing this unit leads to higher rate of fire and longer battery runtime, as the MOSFET reduces electrical losses compared to standard wiring. This is the no-wiring version, intended for experienced technicians and service centers. The unit is connected via 6 wires (power and signal) that must be soldered according to the included diagram.
Key Features
Active motor braking uses the motor’s residual energy to stop it
No trigger contact burning, zero current in idle
Protects and extends lifespan of gearbox internals
Stronger effect with motors using neodymium magnets
Requires fully functioning cutoff lever and mechanical parts in gearbox
