Looking for precision upgrade parts to improve the performance and accuracy of your bolt-action sniper rifle? Need quick and repeatable adjustment of piston weight to achieve the best results with your chosen BB weight? Then this EPeS sniper upgrade set with a VMP piston is the right choice. The set includes a CNC piston with adjustable weight, CNC spring guide with bearing and spacer sleeve, precision piston guide rings, a CNC cylinder head with damping Sorbopad, and a set of weights (4× red, 4× silver). Thanks to the slip-on weights (instead of screw-in systems), tuning is faster and more user-friendly. The correctly adjusted piston mass in relation to the cylinder volume and BB weight delivers quieter shots, longer range, and better consistency with heavier BBs (Joule creep effect). Please note, this is not a plug-and-play upgrade – proper installation requires knowledge of bolt-action airsoft mechanics and careful tuning.

Recommended tuning procedure for piston weight

Select the target BB weight you will be using (e.g., 0.43 g, 0.49 g).
Test different weight combinations from lightest to heaviest, recording the total weight.
For each combination, fire 3–5 shots and record the average energy (Joules) and note the noise level.
Choose the combination that provides the highest energy with the lowest deviation and acceptable noise.
Verify results in the field with properly set hop-up.
