The EPeS Sniper Air System Upgrade Set delivers a complete assembly of carefully designed and pre-installed components that greatly improve rifle performance. It includes a tight stainless cylinder with sealed head and Sorbopad, CNC spring guide with bearing and POM sleeve, a high-power M150 spring, and a CNC Variable Mass Piston (VMP) with stainless and dural weights. The adjustable piston weight lets you achieve quiet shots, higher energy, and stable groupings with heavier BBs (Joule creep effect). The spring guide with bearing and anti-vibration sleeve reduces vibration and sound, while the Sorbopad protects internal parts and extends lifespan. Each set is individually tested at EPeS for sealing, smoothness, and sound, so you receive a fully assembled ready-to-use cylinder. Note: adjusting piston weights is not plug-and-play – proper knowledge of bolt-action mechanics is required.
Recommended Piston Weight Tuning Process
Choose your target BB weight (e.g., 0.43 g, 0.49 g).
Test weight combinations from lightest to heaviest and record total piston mass.
Fire 3–5 shots per setup, record average Joules, and monitor shot noise.
Select the configuration that offers the highest consistency with acceptable noise.
Verify results in the field with hop-up adjusted.
