A comfortable and cozy jacket for nature and bushcraft that is loosely based on jackets primarily used by the British SAS (Special Air Service). In Helikon’s lineup, it fits between the heavier but more sophisticated anorak PILGRIM and the lighter windbreaker WOODSMAN. The jacket is made from the patented material DuraCanvas(R), which can be waxed to improve its protection against light rain and snow.The jacket features a central two-way zipper. The hood is quite deep and adjustable at the back and around the collar.For storing small gear and valuables, the jacket has a total of eight pockets. The pair of chest pockets are closed with flaps and sturdy Canadian-style buttons. Below these pockets, you’ll find another pair of flat pockets accessed via zippers with large pull tabs. The lower cargo pockets are fairly spacious and also accessible via flaps with buttons. The last pair of pockets is located below the lower cargo pockets. To enhance temperature regulation, the jacket features zippers under the armpits for easy ventilation. The sleeve cuffs can be adjusted with Velcro straps, and the waist is adjustable with a drawstring and plastic stopper.
