TRAMONTANE WindPack(R) Windbreaker from Helikon-Tex
The Tramontane windbreaker is named after the northern Mediterranean wind and weighs only 150 g. Additionally, it can be very easily and quickly packed into the chest pocket. When packed, it is about the size of a soda can, making it easy to carry in a thigh pocket of your pants or in a side pocket of a backpack. In summer, it serves perfectly as an outer layer over a t-shirt, and in spring and autumn, it is appreciated when combined with a fleece or sweater. Despite its low weight, it provides excellent wind protection and does not restrict movement even in dynamic situations. Tramontane is made from light yet durable nylon WindPack(R), patented by Helikon-Tex. It is a quick-drying nylon impregnated with a waterproof DWR (Durable Water Repellency) layer that stops light rain and snow. WindPack(R) also effectively wicks excess heat from the body.The jacket features a long central zipper with a neck guard at the top. The chest pocket is accessible via a vertical zipper and provides enough space to store documents, valuables, a smartphone, etc. The jacket has a spacious hood that features an elastic edge and can be adjusted for size with a drawstring and stopper. The bottom hem of the jacket is also adjustable, and the sleeves are finished with elastic cuffs.
