The Wolfhound is a lightweight insulated jacket designed as an insulating layer, which can be worn alone or as a lining under an outer layer. Thanks to the Climashield(R) Apex(TM) (67 g/m²) insulation, it provides excellent thermal comfort and quick drying, even when wet. The outer nylon material is wind-resistant and lightly rainproof, while the VersaStretch(R) panels under the arms improve breathability and overall comfort.The inner collar is lined with fleece, providing comfort and protection from abrasion. Fleece-lined hand pockets provide warmth. The jacket can pack down compactly without losing its insulating properties. A discreet VELCRO panel on the left sleeve allows for easy customization with patches.A hooded version, the Wolfhound Climashield(R) with a WindPack(R) Nylon shell, is also available, designed to be worn as a standalone jacket, while this Wolfhound model is more versatile and can also serve as an insulating underlayer.
