The flip-down pouch was developed with a focus on protection and rapid accessibility for GPS units that may prove critical in life-or-death scenarios. It is designed for GPS devices such as the Garmin 62S and GPSMAP 66ST, featuring a removable inner cradle that secures the unit, protects the display from damage, and prevents it from falling out when opened. An opening at the top allows the antenna to function correctly for uninterrupted signal reception while stored.The entire pouch is constructed from US Mil-Spec 1000D Cordura(R) nylon, which is abrasion-resistant, water-repellent, and tear-resistant. The material is also treated with an IR coating that reduces infrared visibility by 99.8procent. The MOLLE attachment occupies 2 horizontal rows and is compatible with plate carriers, chest rigs, and backpacks.
