<p>This adapter fits between the frame (magazine well) and the magazine. Its primary function is to <strong>allow the use</strong> of <strong>24 BB GBB Glock magazines and 25 BB CO2 magazines</strong> designed for <strong>G17 and G18C without an unsightly gap</strong> on the G19 (G23).<br />The adapter <strong>fills the gap between the magazine well and the baseplate</strong> of the magazine, hence it <strong>cannot be used for T5 and T8 Custom models</strong> due to the aluminum Magwell or for <strong>Gen5</strong> models.<br />Essentially, you <strong>get a G19X hybrid</strong>, which features <strong>a G17 magazine and a short G19 slide</strong>, with the difference that <strong>the grip remains like Gen4</strong>.</p>
